Her raging headache woke her up from her restless short sleep quickly hitting the snooze button of her alarm clock covering her face with her pillow blocking the damn sunlight that only worsens the pain Drifting off again but minutes later Petra's voice coated with her thick hispanic accent flooded her ears "ms. Selena time to get up" covering her ears "not now Petra!" groaning "yes right now ms. Selena I have coffee waiting for you" pulling the covers away from her "that's why I said to you no going out yesterday" the middle aged women continued talking to her in her unique way showing that English is most definitely her second language "I'm up, I'm up!" Selena raised her hands "just please Petra stop talking" causing her to laugh "ok you get ready" Letting out a sigh she finally sat up rubbing her temples in the process letting her eyes adjust to the bright ass light that comes through every inch of her room Although her house is one of the most beautiful and amazingly built in the San Diego area she hates it, her father being the number one architect of their area let his new wife decided every single detail and design of their house and her number one requirement was that it be surrounded by full length windows so there's more glass than walls Reaching for her nightstand opening the small drawer pulling out the small bottle of aspiring spilling two on her hand she popped them into her mouth and swallowed them Standing up still feeling drunk looking down at herself ...
